FEES

The fees are intentionally set below the APS recommended rates to make therapy as affordable as possible.

Standard Hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm):

• Individual Session (50 minutes): $235
• Couple Session (50 minutes): $280
• EMDR Individual Session (75 minutes): $345

After Hours (Before 9:00 am, After 5:00 pm, Weekends and Public Holidays):

• Individual Session (50 minutes): $250
• Couple Session (50 minutes): $300
• EMDR Individual Session (75 minutes): $367.50

Although the Australian Psychological Society recommends a fee of $330 per session, these rates have been set below this guideline to ensure therapy remains accessible.

Medicare rebates:

• Individual Sessions: Clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from their GP may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

At present Medicare do not allow rebates for couple sessions. If however a patient is diagnosed by their GP with a mental health diagnosis and placed on a mental health care plan, rebates may be possible if couple sessions are deemed appropriate to restore the individual’s mental health concern. An initial consultation with the referred patient will be required to determine the suitability and validity of the requested sessions under the Medicare scheme to ensure compliance with their stringent rules. It should be noted that some Private Health Funds may provide rebates for couple therapy.

Payment is required in full before your appointment via bank transfer or Stripe (a secure payment platform). If you’re on a mental health care plan, you can claim rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
